Biography of Hon. James M. Fromayan


     
 
     

Chairman James M. Fromayan:

Born 1950, in Zorzor, Lofa County, holds an MA Degree in Politics and Development Strategies from the Institute of Social Studies, Netherlands, a BA degree in International Relations from the University of Liberia. Chairman Fromayan is theimmediate past Co-Chairman of the National Elections Commission. Before then, he served as Executive Director of Liberia Democracy Resource Center, former Project Manager, Seeds and Tools Project, Catholic Relief Services. He is also a onetime Assistant Minister for Administration, Ministry of Education and he acted as Minister of Education for more than seven months, in addition to his teaching at the University of Liberia, and a one time Vice Principal of the Voinjama Multilateral High School.

Chairman Fromayan has regional responsibility of Montserrado and Margibi Counties, in addition to his oversight of General Administration and Information at NEC.
