Commissioner Boakai A. Dukuly comes from Suehn-Mecca Statutory District, Bomi County. Honorable Dukuly was appointed on August 27, 2015 to replace Commissioner Ansumana F. Kromah who passed away in 2014. Prior to his appointment, Commissioner Dukuly served as Vice Chairman of the Independent National Commission on Human Rights (INCHR).
Commissioner Dukuly holds two Master degrees from the IIT/Chicago-Kent College of Law and the University of Virginia, respectively. He is a graduate of the Louis Arthur Grimes School of Law at the University of Liberia, and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in General Forestry. The appointment of Commissioner Dukuly completes the 7-member Board of Commissioners at the country's Elections Management Body (EMB).
Honorable Boakai A. Dukuly was an adjunct professor at the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan teaching International Human Rights Law, International law U. S. National Security and Foreign Relations Law adn Comparative Law. Prior to the Liberian Civil conflict, Commissioner Dukuly served as a Law clerk in the Supreme Court of Liberia, and a Teaching assistant in the College of Agriculture and Forestry, University of Liberia.
