Hon. Josephine Kou Gaye was born and grew up in Sanniquellie, Nimba County, in North Eastern Liberia where she completed her primary and secondary school education at the St. Mary’s Catholic High school in 1996. Commissioner Gaye graduated from the African Methodist Episcopal Zion University College in Monrovia, Liberia with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Management. She also holds an MBA in Business Management from the Cuttington University Graduate School in Liberia. Prior to joining the National Elections Commission, Hon. Gaye was a Business Management Consultant and an Entrepreneur. She is very passionate about human rights and especially those of women and children.
