Logistics Officer II
The National Elections Commission is in need of a versatile election practitioner for the position of Logistics Officer II to be assigned at Headquarter.
Logistics Officer’s Responsibilities
1- Takes record of all electoral materials;
2- Orderly arrange elections materials in the warehouse for easy identification and packaging;
3- Takes lead in the packaging and labeling of electoral materials for their various destination;
4- Keeps accurate records for all elections logistics sent to the NEC Headquarters and organizes an orderly retrieval of materials from field and keep them in the store room;
5- Conduct inventories at the Magisterial Offices with the Logistics Officers from the Counties; and
6- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Deputy Executive Director for Operations and the Commission.
Logistics Officer’s Qualification
1- University degree preferably in the Social Sciences or related field;
2- Previous experience in election field coordination, logistics and electoral training;
3- Effective organizational skills and ability to manage a large volume of work in an effective and timely manner;
3- Fluency in English and excellent oral and written communication skills;
4- Ability to harmoniously work with people of different cultural backgrounds;
5- Ability to work well under pressure and flexibility and willingness to live and work in hazardous conditions involving physical hardship and little comfort.
