The National Elections Commission has a vacancy for the position of a Training Assistant.
Job Profile:
This position is a non-management position responsible for ensuring optimum service delivery to internal/external customers and shall also provide valuable administrative assistance in the Training Section. These include:
· Assisting the Director of Training to organize, plan, and conduct training programs;
· Scheduling training events and coordinating with instructors and attendees of training programs;
Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge Required:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Public Administration, or a similar relevant degree;
· IT Literacy: able to use Microsoft Office at an intermediate level;
· Effective organizational skills and ability to handle large volume of work in an efficient and timely manner would be an advantage;
· Fluency in English and excellent oral, and written communication skills;
· Must be able to work well under pressure;
· Must have the ability to work harmoniously with people of different backgrounds;
Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Training, the Training Assistant shall be responsible for the following duties:
· Researching, planning, organizing, and conducting training programs;
· Liaising with Departmental and Sectional Heads to determine training needs;
· Scheduling training events in consultation with Director of Training;
· Perform such other task as required by the Director of Training.
