The National Elections Commission has a vacancy for the position of an Office Attendant to be assigned in the Office of the Chairperson.
Job Profile:
This position is a non-management position responsible for ensuring optimum service delivery to internal/external customers and shall also provide valuable administrative assistance in the Office of the Chairperson of the NEC. These include:
- Providing administrative support to the staff of the Chairperson’s office;
- Keeping the office and its surrounding areas neat and tidy.
Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge Required:
- Must be high school graduate with a WAEC certificate;
- A higher certificate would be an added advantage;
- Fluency in English;
- Must have the ability to work harmoniously with people of different backgrounds;
Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the direct supervision of the Special Assistant to the Chairperson, the Office Assistant shall be responsible for the following duties:
- Process incoming mail;
- Sort and distribute mail and memo from the Office of the Chairperson;
- Assist with filing and correspondence;
- Ensuring that all customers receive excellent customer service;
- Replenish office items as needed;
- Assist the Chairperson by running errands as directed;
- Ensure that the Office of the Chairperson is clean and tidy at all times;
- Perform such other task(s) as required.
