County Supervisors: Field Coordination Director and Senior Elections Magistrates in the 4 Counties

The National Elections Commission (NEC) has vacancies for the position of Geographic Information System (GIS) Data Collectors. Interested individuals are to submit their applications to the Human Resource Section.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Data [Global Positioning System (GPS)] capture of the geographic coordinates of infrastructure and sites suitable to be utilized for Voter Registration centers (VRCs) for the 2023 Presidential and Legislative Election;
- GPS and attribute data capture of potential infrastructure and sites in highly populated selected localities not currently in acceptable travel distances to previously existing VRCs;
- Perform other data and GIS operations as may be required by the NEC.
Minimum Qualification and Experience required:
- Must be a University graduate or Senior University student;
- Must be IT Literate;
- Must be able to use a digital device for field data capture at an intermediate level;
- Ability to travel within a county under challenging travel conditions;
- Must be able to work well under pressure;
- Must be able to multitask;
- Must have the ability to work harmoniously with local authorities and people from different backgrounds;
