The National Elections Commission is seeking for applications for the position of Account Clerk. Successful applicant will be assigned at NEC HQ.
Applicant must be able to work with others as team player, as well as being able to work alone and under strenuous condition. With courtesy and professionalism at the NEC headquarters. Be willing to travel across the country when required.
Terms of Reference:
Under the supervision of the Chief Financial Officer, the Account Clerk shall perform the following duties:
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and comprehensive periodic financial report.
Assist in reconciling all bank accounts and prepare monthly reconciliation statements.
Assist in maintaining the fixed assets registrar.
Assist in maintaining voucher and check registrar.
Perform all other activities as prescribed by the boss.
Qualification, Experience and required skills
Bachelor of Art degree in Accounting or other relevant degree.
Must have minimum of 4 years’ Experience.
Ability to prioritize a wide range of workloads with critical deadlines
Excellent critical thinking and problem solving.
Availability outside of working hours to resolve emergency issues promptly.
